Each BKT pigtail connector, regardless of its type, boasts a ceramic ferrule that precisely centers the fibre. These ferrules are characterised by their high-precision manufacturing and excellent resistance to temperature-induced deformation. BKT fibre optic single-mode pigtails are available
in two types of ferrule: UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) and APC (Angled Physical Contact). The high production quality and repeatability of BKT fibre optic connectors guarantees very low insertion and reflection losses whilst ensuring long service life and outstanding mechanical reliability.
