Shure Beta 27 Darge Diaphragm Microphone
The Beta 27 is a high-quality large-diaphragm condenser microphone. The very uniform supercardioid characteristic guarantees minimum susceptibility to feedback and maximum isolation of the sound source. As a result, it delivers a clear, clean signal from the picked-up instrument even on very loud stages.
Unlike conventional large-diaphragm microphones, the Beta 27 was developed primarily for stage use and only secondarily for the studio. In addition to the typical Shure robustness, the high maximum sound pressure and the very uniform supercardioid characteristic are the most important features for this.
The advantage of the supercardioid: the high isolation from other sound sources and mimicked feedback susceptibility - particularly helpful on very loud stages, when the signal must still be transmitted as faithfully as possible.

The Beta 27 has an extremely linear frequency response and thus delivers a neutral sound. It offers excellent transient response, transparency and fast impulse processing.
