The Alphacool ES 4U 19" ServerRack offers the ideal foundation to create extensive workstation with watercooling.
Heat dissipation in high-performance server racks has become a serious problem the increasing heat from more powerful components. More and more companies are equipping their servers with water cooling to dissipate heat quickly and more efficiently. With the ES 4U 19" ServerRack, Alphacool offers the ideal basis for building a water-cooled workstation.
Thec case offers special mounting frames for two 360 mm radiators, which can also be mounted in various ways inside the chassis. The side walls are provided with corresponding mounting holes, allowing the radiators to be mounted from 32 to 53 cm from the front. This provides plenty of scope for the design and arrangement of the hardware and the water cooling in the interior of the ServerRack. Due to the variable sizes of 360 mm radiators, we recommend the Alphacool NexXxoS solid copper radiator series.
A reservoir/pump combo can be mounted in the middle front area. The mounting place is suitable for the Alphacool Eisstation pump/reservoir combo. To fill the Eisstation the front frame can be pulled out at the front. For this you only need to loosen a knurled screw, then you can simply pull out the mounting slide and fill the Eisstation from above.
The mainboard is mounted at the usual place at the back of the case. There are also two mounting areas for ATX power supplies. There are also two openings for bulkhead fittings. These can be used to connect the ServerRack water cooling to an external radiator or chiller.
If you want to use the Alphacool ES 4U 19" ServerRack as file server or backup server, you can of course do the same. Six 5 ¼" drive bays are available in the front for this purpose. Of course, any hot-swap cages for 4U server racks can also be installed and used here.
Whether as graphic workstation, backup server, file server, CPU workstation, or something for your own needs, the Alphacool ES 4U 19" ServerRack can be used for any purpose. The installed hardware can be optimally cooled thanks to the optimizations for the use of a water cooling, whereby a carefree operation with maximum performance of the hardware can be guaranteed. This is due to ensuring hardware is sufficiently cooled meaning that there will be no throttling from hardware that’s under load.
