With hammer drilling and chiselling with and without chisel fixing, the all-rounder has the three functions for universal use. The SDS-max adapter enables quick, tool-free changing of drill bits and chisels. The main handle of the rotary hammer TE-RH 38 E is vibration-damped and signals the optimum contact pressure via "press control" – an important support for low-wear yet fast working. The additional softgrip inserts on the handles also reliably dampen vibrations that occur. By means of speed electronics, it is very easy to drill gently. The aluminium gear head of the rotary hammer is robust. The additional handle is securely fixed against rotation thanks to ribbing. Two LEDs not only provide readiness for use, but also automatically indicate service requirements due to brush wear. An overload slip clutch ensures a high level of work safety, which immediately triggers in the event of sudden drill jamming. Exactly repeatable drilling depths are ensured by the infinitely variable metal drilling depth stop. The rotary hammer can be stowed away in no time in the practical transport and storage case E-Box M55.
