Extralink's cost-effective SFP RJ45 1.25G 100M module
The Extralink SFP RJ45 module with a throughput of 1000 Mb/s is a powerful and cost-effective device that complies with Gigabit Ethernet and 1000-BASE-T standards defined by IEEE 802. 3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab. The SFP RJ45 cartridge supports a data rate of 1000 Mbps at to 100 meters for Category 5 Ethernet cable and a 1000 Mbps full duplex data link with 5-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). All four pairs in the cable are used with a symbolic speed of 250 Mbps for each pair. Extralink SFP RJ45 provides standard serial ID information in accordance with SFP MSA, which can be accessed with A0h address via 2-wire CMOS EEPROM serial protocol. The physical IC can also be accessed via the 2-wire serial bus at the address A0h. The SFP RJ45 module is compatible with most Gigabit SFP ports on network devices. The device has a fully metallic housing and therefore low EMI.
