Es wurde für ein kleines Gehäuse mit Mikroprozessorsteuerung konzipiert. Die Champ Serie verfügt über USB und RS-232 Kommunikations-Ports als Standard, mit einem integrierten intelligenten Steckplatz für zusätzliche Schnittstellen, wie Protokollwandler oder Relaiskarten.
