Product Description
Cutting a striking figure amongst the highly competitive ATX-format segment, the Nimbus Midi-Tower from Kolink offers an RGB-LED strip rounding the large cut-out in the front – enabling a significant improvement in airflow. The hardware installed inside the case will also remain clear of dust thanks to the filter, which is important as users will also enjoy the opportunity to admire their hard-earned hardware through the tempered glass side. In spite of Kolink’s use of solid tempered glass, the Kolink Nimbus still weighs only 4,58 Kg. The generous dimensions of the case not only help with airflow, they also allow users to install motherboards up to ATX in form factor. Graphics cards up to 325 mm long are compatible - meaning that the case is perfect for housing some seriously high-end gaming hardware.
Tempered Glass Side Panel & Pre-Installed Fan
The robust chassis consists of one millimetre thick SECC steel and includes a four millimetre thick tempered glass side panel, with an aluminium-look plastic front. A large cut-out in the front has a digitally addressable RGB-LED strip included which can be both synced to compatible motherboards and controlled on the front panel. The magnetic dust filter located behind it helps keep the interior clean and dust free and allows for sufficient airflow.
The interior has a black coating and utilises a power supply shroud to help maintain a clean aesthetic. Beneath this, users will find a non-removable drive cage with brackets for two 3,5- or 2,5” drives as well as space for the power supply itself. Two additional slots for 2,5“ drives are located to the rear of the motherboard tray.
Dust Filters Keep the Kolink Nimbus Clean
In order to keep your gaming hardware supplied with a continuous stream of cool, fresh air - one (of a possible total of six) 120 mm fan in black is included with the case and installed in the rear. The front of the case supports up to three 120 mm fans, the roof of the case allows for two further 120 mm fans.
A 240 mm radiator can be installed in the front and the roof. The motherboard tray and the PSU cover include various openings for all the cable management options you could ask for. The air inlets located in the roof and underside of the case also include a fine mesh. These are magnetic and utilise a honeycomb-structure design to add strength.
Graphics cards up to 32,5 cm with CPU coolers up to 16 cm are both supported. Additionally, the I/O panel located on the front of the case includes two USB 2.0 ports along with a USB 3.0 Type-A port. A switch for controlling the RGB lighting is also available.
