Product Description
The drill bit is made of high-speed steel (4241) with a hardness of 62°HRc (+/-2°), point angle 118, straight cut without chamfer correction, suitable for manual sharpening.
Diameter tolerance h8. Right-hand twist drill with an N-type spiral, hot-rolled on forging rolls, with high flexibility and torsional strength, ground edges.
Cylindrical shank corresponding to the drill diameter.
The surface of the drill is covered with an oxide layer, which provides a low coefficient of friction, reduces the risk of chips sticking to the drill and increases drilling efficiency.
Intended for general applications, for machining alloy and carbon steels with a hardness of up to 250Bhn, gray cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hardened plastics. Compliant with DIN-338 standard.
Recommended to be used with coolant.
