Product Description
What was once served in a glass jug is now stylishly presented in a slender water carafe. While their large opening makes carafes easy to fill, the rim ensures you don’t spill a drop when pouring into the glass. WMF water carafes are available in various sizes, made from modern materials such as glass, hand-blown crystal and polished Cromargan®. The elegant carafes come with either a simple cork stopper or a high-tech stopper. The CloseUp stopper opens and closes automatically thanks to a tilt mechanism, while an integrated strainer holds ice cubes and slices of lemon in the carafe when pouring. WMF water carafes fit into the drinks compartment of any standard refrigerator.
The Basic collection includes water carafes with practical CloseUp stoppers from design agency Köhler & Wilms. The tilt mechanism opens and closes automatically when pouring and an integrated strainer holds back ice cubes and pieces of fruit. The glass carafes with matching water glasses are available in three different sizes for 0.75 to 1.5 litres, with or without handle and in fine polished Cromargan 18/10 rust-free stainless steel. All carafes can be cleaned in the dishwasher and fit into the drinks compartment of any standard refrigerator. Those wanting to cool their water at the table can place the carafes in cooling rings, specially designed by WMF for the Basic collection.
