With extremely low noise and high sensitivity, the 4098 super-cardioid microphones offer the clearest, most transparent and natural sound of any miniature microphone available. They are capable of processing extremely high SPL before clipping, ensuring high speech intelligibility even when the talker is agitated in certain situations and begins to speak very loudly. With a linear frequency response, low distortion and an extremely wide dynamic range, these microphones provide excellent sound even in demanding situations.
In addition, the sound of the microphone does not deteriorate when the talker speaks into the microphone from the side (away from the axis). This only lowers the volume of the voice.
