Rode Podcaster MKII Large Membrane Microphone
The Podcaster MKII is a professional USB microphone with a dynamic large membrane capsule that is perfectly tuned to speech. From a standing stand, speakers sound convincingly "commercial", as you are used to from professional radio stations and advertising jingles. Thanks to the simple USB connection to the computer (Mac or PC), additional devices such as microphone preamplifiers or an audio interface are not required.
As a real problem solving and absolute novelty, an adjustable headphone amplifier with a 3.5 mm jack socket is integrated in the podcaster! A disturbing latency when listening is therefore excluded from the outset. The A / D and D / A conversion takes place in the microphone itself: a sound card is integrated practically the same, so that any audio files can be output from the computer via the headphone jack of the podcaster.
