Tascam MX-8A 8-Channel Matrixmixer
The MX-8A is a 10 × 10 matrix mixer with eight microphone / line inputs, eight line outputs, and stereo input and output via USB and is compatible with software or cloud-based conferencing systems. Its DSP processor provides powerful mixing, routing, and signal processing capabilities, and is ideal for a variety of job sites such as conference rooms, meeting rooms, ballrooms, courtrooms, restaurants, and shops. The DSP features include compressor, four-band parametric equalizer and auto-control for each input channel. On the output side, there is a ten-band EQ with high / low pass filter, runtime adjustment and limiters, which can all be adjusted and stored together with the mixing and routing settings on one of the 50 scene memory locations. In addition, users can rely on automatic ducking and ambient noise compensation to better assert themselves. The MX-8A is equipped with natural-sounding, high-quality and in-house developed microphone preamps, which incorporate our knowledge and experience from many years of production of Pro-Audio devices. Two different software applications for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android are available for remote control: Tascam Tascam MX Connect for configuration and Tascam Tascam EZ Connect for end users. Both are easy to use and included. Using Tascam MX Connect, installers can quickly and easily configure the MX-8A and then assign only the most basic, simple controls to operate with Tascam EZ Connect.
